The Derry family is listed in the Rathangan Church Baptism records from at least 1818. Griffins Valuation shows Waddingtown as residences For Stephen and Benjamin Derry in 1854. One of the 1810 generation is Benjamin Derry and is buried in Ballyconnick Cemetery. Other references show family members in Taghmon and Wexford in the 1870s. The earliest record I have found is that of John Derry (b1777) in Dublin. He was married to Elizabeth Huson. I know nothing of her except that she is the mother of Elizabeth Derry (b1 JAN 1825) as recorded in the Taghmon Parish registry. Of interest is Elizabeth Huson and any Derry decendents that still live in Ireland. I would like to chat with you.
Thanks,
