All I know about my forebear's trial is that it was in Tipperary and in 1835 and that he, William Cunnane and his cousin of the same name were tried and convicted for firearm possestion and shipped out on the Blackwell from Cork to Australia. And that they were listed as Whiteboys
The deportation information listst them as junior and senior respectively.
Are there any court records surviving form 1835 and where should I be looking for them.
Any help or information would be brilliant!

The transportation database is online through the National Archives. This list is not exhaustive due to the destruction of many records before 1836. Here is the link to the finding aid about it: https://www.nationalarchives.ie/article/penal-transportation-records-ireland-australia-1788-1868/. In addition, you can research newspaper archives for the year through the Irish News Archives (subscription site) which may give further information about the case and the conviction. If you have a FindMyPast subscription, they do have a fairly good newspaper collection which may be of benefit.
Otherwise, either the above site: Irish News Archives or British Newspaper Archives (which contain a lot of Irish newspapers) may be another source to look at. It might also be worth checking the Tipperary Studies site to see if they have any records or information about convict transportation. Their website is here: http://tipperarystudies.ie/.
