Ellen Walsh - my gg grandmother
I am trying to confirm my great great grandmother's parents' names. I believe them to be John Walsh and Catherine Briggs. I have a possible baptismal record somone found for me a long time ago. I also would like to confirm her siblings if she had any. I've never been able to find a definite immigration for her.
According to a US Census, she arrived in the US in 1847. She married Michael Finney (Westmeath) in 1853. His first wife had recently died from yellow fever leaving behind a 2 year old son. Ellen died in March 1903.
I would appreciate any help.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and found one baptismal record for a child of John Walsh and Catherine Briggs (see below). The record you provided for Eleanor shows John and Catherine Walsh as the parents. There were five other records in Tuam for Walsh children with parents John Walsh and Catherine Walsh: Catherine 1834 Mary 1837 Patrick 1839 Honor 1841 John 1843 Here is a link to the Tuam parish register https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/1082 There is no way to tell if these children were siblings to John Walsh and Catherine Briggs unless you can find other evidence. I did not find a marriage record.
