I am looking for some help if possible. I have a 2 x great grandmother with the name Elizabeth Claffet (the spelling is on both her son's marriage certificate and granddaughters birth certificate as it's her middle name). Elizabeth was born approx 1880's I think and was with James Quin/Quinn, they had a son called Edward. I have tried for 2 years to find anything about her but it's as if she is not a real person, I can't find anything at all with her name - I'm hoping someone sees this message and can help - please.

    Would you be able to provide the records that include Elizabeth's surname so that we might look at the writing?

     

    RootsIreland does not list Claffet as a surname.
