I'm having trouble determining a maiden name due to handwriting on a civil birth record from Stradone, Cavan.
Michael and Anne Smith (Twins) born 1864 Feb.13, Carriga, Cavan. Dad: John Smith, Mom: Bridget (Biddy) Smith. Was maiden name Flood or Hood ???
See document with birth records. Appreciate any help.

Maiden name was Flood based on reviewing the civil records. Confirmed by baptismal records.

Thank you Roger. I have another Smith brother Andrew who also married a Bridget with maiden name of Flood or Hood. I've attached records for this Bridget Smith's children.
It would help to be sure of her maiden name.
