Thanks for the reply.  No it has not been much help so far.  The guy at Bytown blog.  Is retiring and declined to help.  I did get an email from a person at the Carlo Mueseum who sent me a magazine " Carloviana No. 62 2013-2014.

It has a article in it called "THOMAS KAVANAGH AND THE PEOPLE OF BORRIS 1 790-1 837"  Apparently at this time( 2014 )there were still some "Butler's" who still take care of the garden.  

This is at  Clogrenen Castle?  I can't seem to get any information on it.

Any ideas?
