Campbell’s of Boyle

I searched on Roots Ireland for the marriage record and baptismal records and came up empty, Roots has the RC and C of I records for Boyle so not sure why records did not come up. The trancription of the civil death record said that Owen was 79 living in Warren townland in Boyle parish and the informant was William Campbell of Warren.

One of our volunteers saw your query and shared this comment with me:

"another query that rings bells is the Campbell/Johnstone of Boyle topic - I think I've come across another Campbell query relating to Boyle at some stage, and either the original poster or someone replying seemed to think that they were Presbyterian or Methodist ... Slater's 1846 doesn't mention a Presbyterian meeting house in the town, but does list Methodist and Baptist chapels."

Thanks,  interesting as in Australia all are Catholics, so i May of miss lead myself there,!I know that the Evans were devout Catholics and that religion has been passed down the lines.  So when in Australia that must of changed as all the children of Margaret nee Campbell and John Evans were brought up as Catholics.....So if it was the case that Owen was Presbyterian/Methodist, would this be stated on a original death cert and burial place?I’m trying to gather info Before my visit.
