My great-grandparents, William John Breen and Lucinda Parker Breen, emigrated from Belfast in 1870. I believe they sailed to NY. My great-grandfather, James Franklin Breen was 6 or 7 at the time. I am wondering if there is family in Ireland.

Here’s John & Lucinda’s marriage. Note that his name was actually William John. He and his father James were dealers. Marriage was in the Church of Ireland (ie Episcopalian).
Family was living in Verner St, Belfast when William John was born in 1865:
This looks like a sibling for William John senior – Isabella born c 1834.
Her husband Owen may have died in Belfast on 26.5.1867, aged 28. That death certificate is not viewable on-line free yet and so you would need to pay to view it on the GRONI website. This might be Isabella’s death in the workhouse, but cannot be certain:
I don’t know if they had any children. (Can’t find any).
