I'm looking for any other connections and records to Christopher Brady and Anne Carty. I believe that they are the parents of my ancester, Christopher Brady, b. May 5th, 1869, in Newcastle, Wick, Ireland, who emigrated to Philadelphia in 1888 or 1889. All of his records state that he was born in early May of 1869, either the 1st, 5th or 7th. I was able to narrow it down to the 5th using the Ireland Civil Records. I could not find any Catholic Parish Registers birth records for his baptism. I did find other possible siblings - Daniel, born June 13, 1864 (Irish Civil Records) and May O., baptized May 23, 1862 in Kilquade (Catholic Parish Registers).

The only other record I found for Christopher Brady Sr and Anne Carty was that they married July 23, 1860 in Kilquade (Catholic Parish Registers).

Christopher Brady Jr married Bridget Meehan in New Jersey in 1890, although my great-grandmother said that they married outside of Dublin before they came to Ireland (separately, I believe). So I'm not sure if Bridget Meehan was a resident of Newcastle or if they met in the States.

    I found a few records of possible interest on Roots Ireland. There were two Owen Brady baptismal records in Kilquade. One in 1862 and the other in 1866. The first appears to be the same record that you found for a May O. The Roots transcriber came up with Owen. The mother was shown as Carly not Carty. This child must have died young because another Owen record shows up in 1866 and again the mother was shown as Carly.

    I also found two Christopher Brady baptismal records in 1828 and 1830. Possibly one if for the father.
