I am looking for information for my maternal GGGrandparents. They are listed as coming from this area. Edward W. Barrett - June 1833 died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1902 (Father) Wife Ellen Hayes: Ireland.

Catherine 1830
John 1830
Mariam 1833 All children died in the Philadelphia area I believe
Catherine 1835
Michael 1835
Ellen 1839

Hi Jackie, There are numerous Ancestry trees for Edward W. Barrett and wife Ellen Hayes. The "children" you mention above are his siblings. Siblings Martin, 1826; Mary 1833; Catherine 1835: and Ellen 1839; all have baptismal records attached to their profiles which state they are from Loughlynn, Roscommon and their parents are William Barrett and Mary Lavin. For the children John, Michael, and Edward, there are no baptismal records attached to their profiles. There are gaps in the Loughlynn baptismal records though. The RC parish of Tibohine is adjacent to Loughlynn, and their baptismal records begin in 1833. Hope this is helpful!

MF,
Ancestry shows she was in Philadelphia, Penn. in 1865. She married Patrick Mullen, and they had three children: Michael (1864-1893), Mary Ann (1868-1907) and Catherine (1870-1881). She died on 24 Feb 1875 in Philadelphia. Her husband died in 1880.
