My 4x great parents were born in Dublin… Ann McBride around 1791 and William Ballard in around 1781. They moved to Liverpool and their lives thereafter in Liverpool and Portland Maine USA I already know about. I would like to find anything on their births and marriage which I assume was in Dublin.I believe William’s parents may have been William and Mary as this is stated on some burial info.
Any assistance is most appreciated as I can find nothing on their birth and marriage.

I understand ‘Ballard’ and ‘McBride’ outside of Ulster is predominantly Catholic in Ireland for births, baptisms and marriages.

Hi Patricia
i checked all he entries for Ann McBride for Dublin with no luck. Trouble is I don’t know if they were Catholic or Protestant and as is often the case with names in Ireland, McBride and Ballard appear in both RC and COI entries. I also assume that these records are incomplete or just sometimes didn’t exist.
