Designed in 1930 and completed circa 1940, the Irish National War Memorial is dedicated to the Irish men and women who died in the First World War. In November, annual commemorative ceremonies take place here.

It's formally-planned terraced rose gardens are a delight to visit year-round and there are numerous stone monuments to include a carved granite cruciform memorial with inscription.

Do you have an Irish ancestor who died in the First World War? If so, please create an Ancestor Chronicle for them and link them to this memorial under "Link Building".
