Winifred M Fleming was born on April 14, 1869, in Ballycurraugh, County Wickow. She reported her birthplace on a US Passport Application in 1925. She emigrated to Philadelphia and married Patrick Michael Cosgrove in 1885. He was also an immigrant from Ireland, probably Wicklow. They had two children during their marriage, including Marguerita Cosgrove (my grandmother). Winifred's sister Anne Fleming (born 15 Nov 1872 in Wicklow) followed her to Philadelphia and lived with her and her daughter's family. Marguerita Cosgrove had 15 children with Richard T McSorley. Winifred died in 1934 and she is buried in the McSorley-Cosgrove grave at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. Her sister Anne Fleming is also buried there.
Winifred & Anne's parents were Peter Fleming (b 1826) and Mary Lambert (b 1840) in Ballycurraugh, County Wickow
