Place of migration
Migrated to /Born in Canada
According to ancestry research to date, we think that William Keady of Donaughmore, county Donegal in 1827, may be the same ancestor William Keady of Castlebar who emigrated to Quebec from Westport in 1831 and died there in 1832. William immigrated to Quebec from Westport, Ireland, the 7th May 1831 and died in Quebec the 20th of June 1832, his wife dying two years later.
When William Kedey was born in 1776 in Westport, Mayo, Ireland, his father, Moses, was 36 and his mother, Millie, was 34. He married Ann McGee in 1796 in Ireland. They had ten children in 34 years.
