William Ferguson and Sarah (Scott) Ferguson were both born in Ireland and emigrated together or separately to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where they raised five children. One was Sadie/Sarah (Ferguson) Wilcutts (1862-1931) who was my great grandmother.
It is possible that William Ferguson’s parents were William Lee Ferguson (1807-1890) and Euphemia Dobson (1808-1896) who was from Edinburgh and they married on 22 October 1827. Euphemia may be the daughter of Matthew Dobson. I am looking for any evidence that would support these claims.
I have searched through Rootsireland.ie and IrishGenealogy.ie unsuccessfully.
