My Thomas Moloney came to America around 1829 before the Famine. He and his wife brought 12 kids with them 11 girls and 1 boy and landed in Troy, New York. Sometime between then and 1840 Thomas died. His wife and some of the kids moved to St. Louis, Missouri.
The only record I can find for them is a birth baptism of John Moloney born in 1827 to Thomas Moloney and Elizabeth Staunton in Rockhill. The witness is Wm Daly.
On Ancestry I have a DNA match to Daniel Moloney and Nora Daly in Bruff. Bruff is 15 minutes from Rockhill.
I see that in Rockhill is a John Moloney's Bar does anyone have information on the bar or a Moloney or Staunton family in Rockhill?
Then I have my great great grandmothers sister who's son stated that the family came from Limerick on her death certificate. So there is my Limerick connections.
