Thomas Hannan and brothers John, Michael, Martin and James left Galway in the late 1840's. Thomas and Michael farmed in Long Island New York. John went to San Francisco or Stockton CA area and died in 1862. in early 1850's Michael moved to San Francisco and died in the 1890's. Thomas moved to Minnesota in 1867. Martin went to Idaho and James whereabouts are unknown. Thomas married Anne Connolly and John married Catherine Connolly. Death records of Thomas and Michael say they were born in Loughrea County Galway. Anna Connolly was born in Monivea County Galway. Thomas and Anna both died in 1921 in Forest City Minnesota.
