Patrick (Patt) was my paternal Gt Gt Gt Grandfather, his son Patt (1838 - 1903) was my Gt Gt Grandfather, his other children were John, Ellen and Ned. His youngest son, Patt, emigrated to Lancashire and was first recorded in English 1861 census as a lodger living near Bacup. He married Mary Sullivan, also from Mayo, in Bacup in 1867. All their children, Ann, infant, John, Mary, Patrick Joseph, Michael , my Gt Grandfather, Thomas, William and James were born and lived in Lancashire. Patt senior was on Patt jnr's wedding certificate as farmer deceased in 1867. He may have died in 1865 and been buried in Ballina.
I think Patt Snr's parents were John O'Hora and Kitty, John being born in 1745.
