Michael Gooley married Catherine Fitzgerald in Chicago, IL. They had 7 children but 2 died as infants. Michael and Catherine died in Chicago, IL just 3 weeks apart. A sister by the name of Mary Fitzgerald came over from Ireland to finish raising the children. I only know that she may have arrived about 1887 or 1888. Catherine and Mary's parent's names may have been Richard Fitzgerald and Catherine Hogan but I have no real proof of this. I don't have birthdates either. Ireland's depressing history is too destroyed to find much before 1901. My great grandparents show up in Chicago, IL in 1870 where they married.
