Hi, I'm hoping to discover exactly where Michael Burke (September, 1833/5 - April, 1908) was born in Galway. (With no discoverable official Irish record of birth & only the US censuses & vitals as reference, I cannot pinpoint his exact year of birth.)
His parents are listed as John Burke & Mary Kennedy on his US Record of Death in Massachusetts.
He states that he emigrated to the United States (Port of Entry: Boston, Massachusetts) in 1850.
He married in 1860 & raised a family, while working in the mills, bleachery & watch factory.
Any search ideas or further information is welcome!
