Mary NIEHLAN was born in Raheen, County Clare, Ireland on 2 February 1798.
In 1821 she married Patrick McGUAN who lived nearby.
In 1849 they emigrated to the United States, first living in Ohio and later settling in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, USA.
They had six sons and two daughters.
Mrs. McGuan died on 3 May 1899 in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, USA at the age of 101.
She was buried at the Our Lady of Loretto Cemetery, Denzer, Sauk County, Wisconsin. [See Find A Grave Memorial]
