My great grandmother was Mary Anne Byrne born in 1831. She married John Reardon in Rathdrum, Wicklow, in 1848. They came to Victoria, Australia in approx. 1850. Mary Anne's parents were James Byrne and Jane Walsh who were married in Avoca in 1827. She had at least one sibling, Michael Byrne who was born in 1829. I'd love to know more about the Byrne family although I realise that it is a common name in Wicklow.
