My great grandfather was born somewhere between the mid to late 1840's. His father was Augustin McLoughlin. Martin married Margaret Burke in 1869, she was from Faartown. All of Martin and Margaret's children were born in Mountbellew and births were registered in the district of Killeroran. The farm where they lived was in the electoral district of Cloonkeen and townland of Cloonshivna, baroy and parish of Killian. I'm curious to know of any siblings that Martin might have had. Also Margaret and Martin had a daughter Elenor that wsas born in 1875 but I can't locaate her after that. Is it possible that she went into the convent of Sister of Mercy. I know that the name Elenor could have been Ellen or Nora. I have been abe to trace Martin and Margaret's other children. I know that there are a lot of McLoughlin's in the Mountbellew area but I would like to see some connection to my great grandfather Martin.
