- Catherine Griffin b. August 5, 1873. Father- Michael Griffin, Mother- Mary Smyth. (Ballyhaunis)
Married November 17, 1881 in NYC (St. Anthony of Padua) to Bruno E. Dressler. Witness was Mary Griffin (her sister?).
Daughter Mary born August 22, 1882 in NYC and baptized in St. Brigid September 9, 1882. Mary Griffin was a sponsor.
Son Bruno Anthony born April 9, 1884 in NYC and baptized in St. Brigid May 4, 1884. Mary was not a sponsor.
Son Howard Vincent born February 20, 1895 in Oakland, California.
DNA suggests however, that the biological father of both of her sons was not Bruno E. Dressler since he could not have been German. Both biological fathers were Irish., probably not the same man.
Bruno E. Dressler died in 1897, she married again to Harry Guiver Ellis, an English immigrant.
