At some point, before 1865, she emmigrated to Bacup, England and worked in the cotton mill. She met and, in 1865, married John Owen Duffy (County Sligo). They had 3 children, Thomas H, Patrick Joseph (my grandfather) and Mary Ellen, before emigrating to Boston, Massachusetts. They emigrated in 1870. They lived in North Brookfield before settling in Quincy, Massachusetts. She had 8 more children before passing away in 1902.
