Update: John's, parents were James McIntyre (1779-1874) and Jane Hill (1782-1875). Their grave marker states they were from Ballycastle, Antrim, Northern Ireland. They had 9 children. I'm looking to verify birth records for the children, and marriage dates.
John: about b.1804 m. Margaret Gibbons,b. 1822 James:b. 1806 m. Jane Childerhose b.1822, Samual b. 1813 m. Sopia McCormick, 2nd wife, Mary Ann Graham, Daniel b. 1815, Arthur b. 1817, Robert b. 1820, Annie, b.1825, Jane b. 1828, and William born before 1837. These are not verified birthdate but close compared to Find a Grave.
John and James emigrated to Canada around 1835 and sent money for their parents to come a couple years later. William died on the voyage and was reputed to be, "a baby" but birth records indicate he may have been older. It says James and Jane brought over, "their 5 children", with William being the youngest, I feel William and Samuel may have come over at a later date.
