John Kyle b circa 1790 in Antrim, married Margaret Docherty and had son John Kyle b 1813-1820, who married 1st Jane/Jean Dunlop and then Isabella Dick before immigrating to Lanarkshire, Scotland about 1848. Sons John Kyle b circa 1837 and David Kyle b 1843 and daughter Elizabeth b about 1846. Robert Kyle b circa 1843 is a nephew to John b 1837. They were iron/coal miners and bleachfield workers and linen weavers in Scotland. Probably Presbyterian.
