I have 3 generations of John J O'Brien, most recent I found is John, born Apr 1857, he married Kate Taine in 1887 at St. Mary's Cork City, their two children were William and Mary born in the late 1890s.
John's parents were John J and Frances Crowley, it is their daughter, Jane DOB 1864 that I decend. Their other children: Mary-1862, Frances - 1864, Margaret- 1871, and William - 1876 ( a brick mason and a soldier in the British Army in WWI), are the ones I have no info.
Julia came to the US with Jane and Kathleen married an O'Driscoll and moved to England. They lived on Blarney St at various address, most recent #264.
All the men were brick masons, and other than John Sr, I found on the 1911 census, John Sr was on the 1901, so he must have passed in between censuses.
