According to family tradition, John G. "J.G." Gibbons was born in "Kilmacomb Crossroads" (another note says "three miles from Waterford") in June 1820 and immigrated to the United States in 1850. He settled in Tennessee and died at the home of his daughter in Alabama in 1903.
