Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in Australia

John Fleming married Mary Begly and had 5 children: Laurence b 1835, Henry 1838, James 1840, Honora 1842, John 1845 and Patrick 1848.  All these children are registered in the Templebraden / Pallasgreen Catholic Church registers.
According to Griffiths's valuation(1847/1850 records), John leased just over an acre of land in the Treanmanagh Townland (Toughcluggin).  As there were Flemings recorded in the same area from at least 1827, I assume that John was part of an extended Fleming clan in that townland.
There are Beglys recorded in adjoining North Ballyneety and Ballyneety townlands (Templebraden and Oola civil parishes).  I assume these were Mary's family.
In 1854, the family left Ireland and migrated as Bounty passengers (ie. required to work to repay their ticket) to Tasmania Australia.  After repaying their passage, they finally settled in Wynyard Tasmania where John, Mary, Laurence, Henry and some of their extended family are buried.
