Stayed in Ireland

James and Jane Dixon had a son Benjamin Dixon (born 1799 Wicklow Ireland) married to Maria Lovdy/Lovedia Manifold born 1808/1809 in Wicklow Ireland, daughter of Joseph and Jane Manifold . (Jane Manifold’s burial at the Parish of St Paul, City of Dublin 14 June 1843) The families were Wesleyan Methodists. There is also no record of Benjamin and Maria/Lovdy's marriage on  December 1828. We know they got married in Wicklow/Dublin. Benjamin and Maria emigrated to Cape Town, South Africa, and my great grandfather Richard Neptune was born at sea on 1 March 1840. We're (desperately) trying to find which ship they sailed on to find some legitimate documention re. Richard Neptune He had 4 brothers and sisters born in Wicklow County before they boarded the ship around December 1939. The brothers and sisters were Jane Dixon (  born circa 1930 Ireland),   Rebecca (born circa 1833 Ireland),  Ben [born circa 1836 County Dublin Ireland]  and James [ born circa 1838 Ireland] and my great grandfather Richard Neptune [born circa 1840 at sea]

If anybody has any extra information on any of these people to enable us to place another piece of this puzzle, it would be deeply appreciated. anniehunter1211@gmail.com

Their one son Benjamin Dixon (emigrated to Cape Town with his wife Maria Lovdy/Lovedia Manifold and children. They must have had other children, though, who remained in the Dublin/Wiklow/Arklow area?
