Any relation to Anna B. Corrigan? Born 1846, apparently from County Mayo.

My great great grandfather Frank Corrigan left Mayo County, Ireland, with two brothers during the potato famine. They landed in New York and Frank got a job with the railroad. He transferred to Illinois to work won the railroad. Frank never saw or contacted his brothers after moving. At this time he was unable to read or write the English language. He may have served in the North army during the Civil War, and may have been wounded at the Battle of Shiloh. After the war he settled in Savannah, Illinois and married Anne Fogerty. They had four boys: james, Jack Bernard and Thomas (my great grandpa) in 1875. The children were baptized into the Catholic faith. The family moved to Boyard, Iowa and farmed.
This may be the same Frank Corrigan but I can't be sure. I believe my great great grandfather came from the Castlebar/West Port(?) area. Any help as to ancestry/origins in Ireland would be greatly appreciated.
