Ellen was born in Dublin to Richard Doyle and Mary Ellen Keogh. She had two brothers Patrick and Thomas. Richard was a Railway man and spent most of his life living and working at Shankill in Dublin, living at the Railway House. Mary Ellen Keogh died in about 1908, and Richard Doyle married Mary Crowley in 1910, and they had many more children including Mary, Margaret, Philomena, Victor, Christopher and Richard. Ellen Doyle was born in 1906, married William Joseph Donohoe from Robertstown (a policeman) in 1930 and she died in 1936 from endocartitus. Her brother Patrick Doyle was a gardener and helped create the Japanese garden at the Royal Irish Stud in Kildare. He married Josephine Farrell and had about 6 children. Her brother Thomas married Katherine Doyle and they had 5 or 6 children and rumour has it they went to live in the UK. Richard Doyle's parents were Patrick Doyle and Jane Leeson from Dublin. If anyone knows anything about this family it would be greatly appreciated if you would let me know.
