Hello Alex,
Mary, Elizabeth's younger sister was my G Grandmother, so we are 3rd cousins. I have met a few of Elizabeth's descendents in SA since starting family history, all from the Lamb - Pike line. Since that time I have been to Ireland visiting St Patrick's Church in Kilquade where Esther Wickham and James Williams married (1831) and where both Eliza (Elizabeth) (1832) and brother John (1834) were baptised. Mary was baptised in St Peter's Bray, County Wicklow (1836) and Catherine at St Michael's Kingstown, now Dun Loaghaire (1838).
i have obtained copies of records of all the above events and a number related to the family's time in the Rathdown Union Workhouse in Killiney up to James death on 30 June 1855. Also, it is my belief that Eliza and Mary arrived in Adelaide aboard the Aliquis 12 August 1855, which shows the two were domestic servants from Dublin. Although I found an Eliza and Mary Williams arriving in 1853, later examination proved that these two were from Southern England and part of a family.
We had hoped to return to Ireland last year but COVID ruined that. Maybe next year, although at 84 I am lrunning out of years, but I will if I can.
I have a number of records relating to our Irish family and am always glad to share them, so if you would like copies let me know and I'll send you my email; address. By the way I have a family tree on Ancestry called Royle Family Tree V2 should you wish to have a look.
