Edward McFadden, spouse of Mary Breslin (Brislin), is my great grandfather on my father's side. He is originally from Donegal (I believe Gortahork), having been born to parents John McFadden and Mary Gallagher-McFadden in 1818. He came to America in 1852, married in 1856, and raised a family of nine primarily in Montana. Their daughter, Annie Clare, married James Elmer Wells, and together they had ten children, one of which is my father, James Uvo Wells (1902-1964).
I have long had an interest in my Irish roots and look forward to learning more.
