Christian McAuley is the matriarch of the Murphy Clan that immigrated to Canada in the early 1800s. Not much is known about her, save that she was married to John Murphy, a flax grower in Carrickfergus. No documents have been found that would provide information on her lineage.
Any information on potential McAuley families in county Antrim in the late 1700s to 1800s would be appreciated.
