Hello Deirdre, I was looking through the Wicklow posts on this site as some of my ancestors also came from Wicklow and saw your post. I have found some Baptisms for some of the Byrne family in Wicklow. 1. James Baptised 4th Nov 1827. This james obviously died as another James was born in 1830. Mothers name spelt as Sara, Father Thomas 2. James Baptised 21 Feb 1830, Mother Sara, Father Thomas. 3. Daniel Baptised 28 Nov 1830, Mother Sara, Father Thomas. This Baptism is close to the one for James, who hopefully was some months old when he was Baptised. 4. Patrick Baptised 23 May 1833, Mother Sarah (now with a h) Father Thomas. 5. Catherine, Baptised 3 Jan 1836, Mother Sarah, Father Thomas. 6. John, Baptised Dec 1838 Mother Sara, Father Thomas. I believe there were two other children but could not see any others as the registers are not in good condition. All these Baptisms were in Avoca, Wicklow and there is a place in Avoca called Ballinavalley. Hope this is useful to you in some way. Maureen
