Bridget C. O'Boyle (nee Garvey) was born in June 1831 in Castlebar, Mayo, Ireland. She married James Patrick O'Boyle on November 9, 1854, in Batavia, Illinois. They had 12 children in 22 years. She died on February 4, 1875, in Afton, Illinois, at the age of 43, and was buried in De Kalb, Illinois.
