Barney immigrated to the US from Liverpool, England, arriving on Apr 29, 1825 in New York City with his brother Owen. Four members of the family were listed in Daniel’s obituary on Jan 10, 1908. Children born Peru, Clinton Co., NY

Note 1: *Listed in Glens Falls, The Morning Star, January 10, 1908 obituary for Daniel Fitzpatrick. With the common names used by the all the Fitzpatrick families, it has been extremely hard to track the children.

Note 2: #2 and #3 age disparity: Catherine “Kate” Fitzpatrick’s headstone shows birth in 1835. However, the 1850 and 1860 US Census show birth date estimate of 1836, both have her 2 years younger than Mary, birth estimate 1835, so they aren’t twins. Mary’s headstone also shows 1835. The 1900 US Census has a birth date for Mary of Nov 1834. The 1905 NY Census with a date of Jun 1, 1905 estimated Mary’s age at the time of the Census at 70 that fits for the date of her birth as Nov 1834, not Nov 1835 or she would be listed as 69 years old.
