I am looking for any relatives of Annie/Anna Mcveigh who was born in Emyvale, County Monaghan,Ireland. Annie left Ireland to live in NYC on 6th October 1928. She married my gt uncle James Patrick Murphy in 1930. We know Annie had a sister called Rose who we think could also have gone to the USA.
This photo was taken in 1937 at Colney Island, NYC.
We think this photo is of Annie, but there is a slight chance this photo could be of James Patrick's sister Ellen, who disappeared on her way home from New York and was never seen since. It would be great to get in touch with Annie's relatives to confirm if this is her, in the photo and it will be lovely to find out what happened to her and if she ever mentioned Ellen disappearing.
