Family lore tells me that the parents of Patrick Morrison and Annie Merrick were opposed to their marriage. I believe they were both from Louisburg, Mayo, Ireland. They settled in Rutland, Rutland, Vermont, USA. Their first child was born in Vermont about 1848. Their ancestors lived in Westfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, USA and Clinton, Worcestor, Massachusetts, USA.
I have been unable to find Baptismal or Marriage records for either Patrick or Annie.
